My name is Lauren O'Mara, and I’m a marketing professional with a passion for digital marketing, content creation, and event planning.

I was born and raised in Grandville, Michigan, and earned my BBA in Marketing from Grand Valley State University, where I also minored in Hospitality and Tourism Management to deepen my knowledge of event planning, one of my long-standing passions. My education, along with two internships during college, gave me the foundation to build a career that I’m passionate about and truly enjoy.

In 2023, I relocated to Lynchburg, Virginia with my husband as he began his career in nuclear engineering. Although unplanned, I also found myself continuing my own career in the nuclear industry. We’ve enjoyed discovering a new town and state together and share a love for traveling the world, sipping coffee, and spending time with our two cats. Coffee is a big part of my daily life, and I even do freelance photography for Schuil Coffee, blending my creative side with my caffeine passion. In my free time, I’m usually planning something, whether it’s an upcoming event, our next trip, or simply dreaming about the future. My current passion project is the creation of my future small business, "Sweet as Honey Decor Rentals."
